Loading Rules

CMEM loads rules in E/CSA. Rules are loaded during CMEM startup under the following conditions:

• it is the first time CMEM is started up
• the operator issues the CMEM modify command C
• a user forces the CMEM rules table from the Tables list of the Control‑M Event Manager Rule Definition screen (Screen C)

During the load process, the monitor performs logical checks to verify the correctness of the rule.

In case of an error, the rule is rejected and an error message prints in the IOA Log and the CMEM monitor SYSPRINT.
