The Control-M Application Server (CTMAS) communicates with the Control‑M/Enterprise Manager, a software product that runs on a UNIX or Windows platform and provides centralized control of the job scheduling environment for the enterprise. The purpose of the Control-M Application Server is to interface between the Control-M/EM and the Control-M environment on the z/OS platform.
