Upgrade the master IOA environment using the appropriate ICE facility — either the Upgrade in Place process or the Ad-hoc maintenance process (to APPLY select PTFs).
Keep a list of all pre-APPLY and post-APPLY actions (such as Holds) that you perform during upgrade or maintenance. You will need this list in subsequent steps of the Multisystem Upgrade process on the slave IOA environments.
