To enhance the coverage of data sets by the Multisystem Upgrade process, you can implement system symbols within a subset of IOA environment data sets.
For more information about system symbols, refer to the IBM Knowledge Center.
Note that implementing system symbols adds several limitations to the Multisystem Upgrade process, restricting the differences that are allowed to exist between the IOA environments.
