Installing CMEM when Control-M is already installed

If Control‑M was installed without CMEM and subsequently CMEM is required, perform the following steps:

Note: This is relevant when Control‑O is not installed. If Control‑O is installed, see Installing Control-O.

1. Specify IOA as the Product ID in the ICE IOA Installation Main menu.

   Check and, if necessary, change the SSNAME CMEM-related parameter. For more information about this parameter, see Step 4 – Specify IOA parameters.

2. Select Step 6.3 – Specify IOA computers (optional). Check or change the CTM2SBS CMEM-related parameter.

   Check and, if necessary, change the computer parameters.

3. Select Step 6.2 – Save parameters into IOA libraries to save the parameters in the installation libraries.
4. If the IOA subsystem was not previously installed, perform Subsystem definition.
5. Proceed with Step 7 – Install Event Manager (CMEM)/Control-O interface.

7. Stop and restart the Control‑M monitor.
8. Start CMEM using the command:

   S CTMCMEM

   This command should be issued in all computers where CMEM is to be active.
