Control-D/WebAccess Server Login

The following sections describe how to log in and log out of the Control-D/WebAccess Server and Desktop:

Logging in to Control-D/WebAccess Server Web Application

This procedure describes how to log in to Control-D/WebAccess Server Web Application.

Begin

  1. Open a web browser.

  2. Type the URL provided to you.

    Validate the server is trusted when a warning message appears that the URL is not secure.

  3. Do the following:

    • In the User Name field, type your username.

    • In the Password field, type your password

    If you want to change your password, click Change Password and enter a new password in the New Password and Confirm Password fields.

  4. Select More Options for the following additional options:

    1. (Optional) Select the Filter reports during log in checkbox.

      The Filter Report List panel appears when you log in.

    2. (Optional) From the Host drop-down list, select the required repository.

      Control-D/WebAccess Server connects to the selected repository.

    3. (Optional) From the Change Language drop-down list, select the user interface language.

  5. Click Login.

    You are logged in to Control-D/WebAccess Server

Logging out of Control-D/WebAccess Server Web Application

This procedure describes how to log out of Control-D/WebAccess Server Web Application.

Logging in to Control-D/WebAccess Server Desktop

This procedure describes how to log in to Control-D/WebAccess Server Desktop.

Begin

  1. Open the Control-D/WebAccess Server Desktop application.

  2. Do the following:

    • In the User field, type your username.

    • In the Password field, type your password.

  3. From the Connection Name drop-down list, select one of the following options:

    • Local connection.

    • Extra connection.

  4. Click OK.

    You are now logged in to Control-D/WebAccess Server Desktop.

Logging out of Control-D/WebAccess Server Desktop

This procedure describes how to log out of the Control-D/WebAccess Server Desktop.
