Before you can define a Control-M for PeopleSoft job in Control-M client, you need to create a connection profile in the Control-M Configuration Manager (CCM), which enables you to connect to the required PeopleSoft application server.
A connection profile contains the connection parameters to a specified PeopleSoft application server, such as hostname, port, username, and password. By adding a connection profile to the CCM, you enable Control-M for PeopleSoft users to connect to the required PeopleSoft application server with only the connection profile name. Users can then run a job without having to provide authentication details every time they connect to the PeopleSoft application server.
