Disabling a profile notification

In Control-M for Oracle E-Business Suite job properties, after loading a Program Name, a pop-up notification message appears if a profile contains hidden parameters. This procedure describes how to disable a profile notification when connected to hidden parameters.

To disable a profile notification:

1. Do one of the following:
   • UNIX: Do the following:
     1. Open the <agent_home_dir>/ctm/data/OEBS.dat file.
     2. Create DISABLE_HIDDEN_PROFILE variable and add the Y value.
   • Windows: Do the following:
     1. Open the Windows registry and navigate to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\BMC Software\CONTROL-M/AGENT\OEBS directory.
     2. From the OEBS directory, right click, highlight New and then select String Value.
     3. Open the String.

        The Edit String window appears.

     4. In the Value name field, type DISABLE_HIDDEN_PROFILE.
     5. In the Value data field type Y.
     6. Click OK.
