Configuring the NLS language

This procedure describes how to configure the language for all Sessions.

To change the language for all Sessions:

1. Do one of the following:
   • UNIX: Do the following:
     1. Open the <agent_home_dir>/ctm/data/OEBS.dat file.
     2. Create the NLS_LANG variable and add the language as required.
   • Windows: Do the following:
     1. Open the Windows registry and navigate to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\BMC Software\CONTROL-M/AGENT\OEBS directory.
     2. In the OEBS directory, right click, highlight New and then select String Value.
     3. Open the String.

        The Edit String window appears.

     4. In the Value name field, type NLS_LANG.
     5. In the Value data field as the language as required.
     6. Click OK.

   EXAMPLE: We want to add American English as our language.

   In Windows on the default agent, go to the following directory.

   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\BMC Software\CONTROL-M/AGENT\OEBS

   Create a new String In the Value Name field add NLS_LANG. In the Value data field add AMERICAN_AMERICA.
