The following procedure describes how to copy an alert variable for a job.

To copy variables:

1. From the Add Control-M Job To Order, in the Variables field, highlight the variable and click .

   The Copy Auto-Edit dialog box appears.

2. Change the Variable and Value (blank spaces permitted) as required.

   Structure: %%<variable name> <variable value>

3. Click OK.
