Extract definition rule file

The extract definition rule file is used as input file for the Control-M for Oracle E-Business Suite Extract Definition command. It contains the following information:

• The type of OEBS request or request set definitions to search for (Conditions section)
• How to define equivalent Control-M for Oracle E-Business Suite jobs (CTMDEFINE section), if matching Oracle E-Business Suite requests or request sets are found.

The ctmextract command utility searches for any Oracle E-Business Suite requests or request sets that match the search criteria defined in the extract definitions rule file CONDITION section. For each match an equivalent Control-M for OEBS job is defined according to the information found in the CTMDEFINE section. The extract definition rule file is built from two main sections:

• CONDITIONS - built from one or more [CONDITION<n>] segments. In each [CONDITION<n>] segment, the selections criteria are defined for Oracle E-Business Suite concurrent requests or request sets that you want to extract. For more information, see Conditions Section creation.
• CTMDEFINE - this section contains information on how to define Control-M for Oracle E-Business Suite jobs. The information is built from couples of parameters and their values separated by a blank.   NOTE: In the CTMDEFINE section, you can define any parameter accepted by the ctmdefine utility. For more information about ctmdefine parameters, see Control-M Utilities.
