Adding jobs to be ordered after an event confirmation
This procedure describes how to add jobs to events so that Control-M for Oracle E-Business Suite can perform the required procedure when the specified event has occurred. The jobs specified should be defined in Control-M before the event takes place.
To add jobs to be ordered on event confirmation:
From the CCM, right-click the Control-M for Oracle E-Business Suite component on the host that you want to manage, and select Event Watcher Management.
The CM for Oracle E-Business Suite -Event Watcher Management dialog box appears.
In the Activate Event Watcher field, select On.
In the Watching Interval Time field, select how often in seconds to check for alerts.
In the OEBS Connection Profile field, select the connection profile whose alerts can be monitored.
In the Define Control-M actions to execute after alert confirmation area, in the Order Jobs tab, click .
The Add Control-M Job to Order dialog box appears.
In the Job Name field, type the name of the job that you want to add that must begin with a letter and without any blanks or special characters.
In the Folder/Sub-application field, type the name of the folder or sub application that you want to add, which must begin with a letter and without any blanks or special characters. In the case of a sub-application, use "/" to separate between sub-application names.
To add specifications that are required to identify the job do the following:
Click Advanced.
The expanded Add Control-M Job to Order dialog box appears.
In the Scheduling Date area, select one of the following dates:
ODAT: Defines the job's order date: Default
Any ctmorder date value by selecting the required date in the calendar that appears.
In the Scheduling Group Parameters area, for each field define the required value as described in Scheduling Group Parameters.
