Specifying request parameters

This procedure describes how to specify parameters when defining a Control-M for Web Services job.

To specify request parameters:

1. In the Request definition field from the drop down list, select one of the following:
   • Web Services Local File System or Web Services URL job: Specify request parameters.
   • REST: Specify request parameters and headers
2. In the Input Parameters section, do one more of the following:
   • Add a parameter to the job by clicking Add parameter and in the table, type the Name of the parameter and Value.

     NOTE: The Name column can be specified with a Xpath.

   • Web Services Local File System or Web Services URL job only: Load a parameter by click Load parameters, which displays a list available parameters, and select the parameter you want to use.
   • REST only: If you want to add an HTTP header to the job click Add Header and in the table, type the Name of the header and Value.

   NOTE: If you want to remove a parameter or header, highlight the parameter and header and click Remove. If you want to remove all parameters and headers click Remove all.

3. (optional) Type the SOAP header, in the Add SOAP header from file.
4. To add an array size, in the Advanced Input Settings section, type a value in the Array size field.
