Starting Control-M Messaging API

This procedure describes how to start Control-M Messaging API.

To start Control-M Messaging API:

• Do one of the following:
  • Windows: From the Services dialog box, highlight Control-M Web Services and Messaging API - Messaging Server, and click start the service.
  • UNIX: Navigate to the installation directory, and enter the following command:

    bin/start_ctmmsapi

    The following message appears:

    Starting Control-M Messaging API...

    .Sending output to nohup.out

    ....

    Control-M Messaging API started successfully. PID: 20564

    NOTE: If the product is already running, the following message is appears: Control-M Messaging API is already running.
