Output parameters

Specifies the outcome of selected output parameters. When selecting the global variable option, the maximum length criteria applies. However, if you select that the output parameter value should be saved to a file, there is no maximum length limitation. You can specify the outcome of certain output parameters that exist as a result of the job once it has been run. The output parameters can be specified as one of the following syntaxes:

Simple text, for example, BMC Software Inc.
Variable name format, for example, %%COMPANY
A path to a file containing a value, for example, FILE://D:\company.txt for Windows, or FILE:///home/controlm/company.txt for UNIX. This file is in plain text format, and the contents are input into the parameter value. These values can also be used to define an input parameter of another job.

Variable Name	%%WS-PARMS-P001-VALUE NOTE: P001 represents the number of the parameter for the chosen method. For example, if there were two parameters for a particular method, the second parameter would use P002 instead of P001 (%%WS-PARMS-P002-VALUE)
