Configuration parameters for Control-M for Web Services

The following table describes the configuration parameters for Control-M for Web Services. To enable changes made to any field (except CM Port), you must restart Control-M for Web Services.

NOTE: Updates to any of the following parameters, restarts the Control-M for Web Services current JVM process.

Parameter

Description

Proxy Host

Defines the proxy server host used by Control-M for Web Services. Optional.

Proxy Port

Defines the proxy server port used by Control-M for Web Services. Optional.

Proxy Ignore List

Defines a list of URL address patterns for which the proxy is not used. Optional.

EXAMPLE: *.mycompany.com|localhost

NOTE: URL addresses in this list are separated by |.

HTTP Authentication

Defines a specification for simple text authentication (user password per realm). Optional.

Valid format: user:password@realm1;user:password@realm2

One user per realm only.

NOTE: If you want HTTP Authentication for each connection profile rather than globally, you can enter details when creating or editing the Connection Profile.

CM Port

Defines a Control-M for Web Services port number.

Mandatory. Default: 7001.

NOTE: To change the Port successfully, the iteration of Control-M for Web Services that was running using the previously specified CM Port, must be shut down before you save.
