Selecting JDNI or WSMQ names using the Browse option

This procedure describes how to select JDNI or WSMQ names using the Browse Option.

NOTE: The Browse option does not support TIBCO and Websphere JMS/MQ type account using the Browse option.

To select a queue JDNI name:

1. Click Browse.
2. The Browse to Edit JDNI Name dialog box appears.
3. Do one of the following:
   • Browse through the tree in the left hand pane, select the required JDNI or WSMQ Name and click OK.
   • Enter a search string to find the required JDNI name and click Search.
   • The results appear in the right pane, select the required name and click OK.

   NOTE: Valid wildcard values:

   • *one or more character wildcard
   • ? one character wildcard

   Your selection name is now added to the location field.

   NOTE: To use the WSMQ browse button and obtain the list of queues in the WSMQ manager, you need to add the com.ibm.mq.pcf.jar file to the WSMQ accounts class path. Without this file the only functionality lost is the ability to browse the queue list in the WSMQ manager. No other functionality is affected.

   If you attempt to browse WSMQ queues without the com.ibm.mq.pcf.jar file, the following error message is displayed:

   In order to browse MQ, please add com.ibm.mq.pcf.jar to the account class path.

   The com.ibm.mq.pcf.jar file can be downloaded from the Websphere MQ internet site.
