Elasticsearch Certificate Management

The Elasticsearch certificate allows authentication, encryption, and decryption of data sent over the Internet. This certificate expires periodically and must be replaced in all hosts with the Elasticsearch service.

The following procedures describe:

• Replacing the ElasticSearch Certificate: Replaces the Elasticsearch certificate with a new Elasticsearch certificate.
• Creating an Elasticsearch Certificate: Creates a new Elasticsearch certificate if you do not have one, so you can replace the Elasticsearch certificate.
• Creating a CA Certificate and Key: Creates a CA certificate and key if you do not have them, so you can create a Elasticsearch certificate.
• Updating the CA Certificate: Updates the CA certificate so you can create a Elasticsearch certificate.
