Before you can define a Control-M Application Integrator job in Control-M client, you need to create a connection profile in the Control-M Configuration Manager, which enables you to connect to the required service.
A connection profile contains the connection parameters to a specified service, such as host name, port, user name, and password. When adding a connection profile to the Control-M Configuration Manager, you enable Control-M Application Integrator users to connect to the required specified service with only the connection profile name. Users then can run a job without having to provide authentication details every time they connect to the service.
When adding a parameter in the Command Line, Web Services, or REST API in the Execution operation the following fields automatically appear in the Connection Profile:
NOTE: These parameters are added for your convenience but can be deleted if you do not need them. However if you delete them, they do not return automatically (in case you want to restore them). In the CCM, the Connection Profile for the Job Type is disabled.
