Undeploying the job type

This procedure describes how to undeploy the job type after you have deployed it to a Control-M/Agent and any client.

NOTE: If you want to delete a job type that has already been deployed, the job type is undeployed first and then it is deleted.

To undeploy the job type:

  1. From the toolbar, click Undeploy.

NOTE: You can also undeploy the job type by highlighting the job type in the Home page and clicking I_AI_undeploy.

  2. A confirmation window appears and click Yes.

The Undeploy Job type <name> window appears.

    The deployment results appear.

NOTE: If undeploy was unsuccessful for one or more Agents, a warning message appears displaying those Agents that were not removed. Where deployment was partially successful (failed on specific agent/s) and you would like to manually undeploy the job type from the agent, see https://bmcsites.force.com/casemgmt/sc_KnowledgeArticle?sfdcid=000103420.

  3. Click Close.
  4. If you have Control-M Agent and Server version 8.0.00 fix pack 3 and below, or version 9.0.00 do the following:
    1. Restart the Control-M/Agent where you published.
    2. From the Control-M/Server, type the following command from the command prompt:

      ctmgetcm -Host<Agent's hostname> - ApplType * -Action Get

You are prompted for the required parameters. For more information about ctmgetcm utility, see ctmgetcm in Control-M Utilities.

    3. From CCM, right click Control-M/Agent and click Ping.
    4. Restart Control-M
    5. If you have logged out, log in to Control-M.

The Job type is removed from the CCM and Control-M client.
