Application Integrator configuration

You may need to configure the following options, after you have installed the Application Integrator:

• Secure communication between the web application and web server: Control-M Application Integrator uses the tomcat web server included with Control-M Enterprise Manager. To enable SSL for the Tomcat Web Server, see Setting up SSL between a web browser and Tomcat Web Server.

  After setting up SSL for Tomcat Web Server, you need to configure Control-M/EM Web Server to work with HTTPS, which secures data between the web browser and the web server, as described in Configuring secure communication between web application and web server.

• Set up SSL on Control-M/Agent: To set up SSL on Control-M/Agent, see Setting up SSL on Control-M/Agent.
• Access levels: You can set Access levels in the Privilege tab in the CCM, as described in Configuring Application Integrator user/group privileges.

  In Control-M you can create, edit, copy, and delete Control-M/EM users and groups, which enables you to limit the entities that a user is authorized to view or change. Users are granted permissions based on their associated group. You can add additional authorizations, which supersede the authorizations defined for that user in the group. For more information about authorizations, see Control-M/EM Authorizations in Control-M Administration.

• Proxy server settings: If the Application Integrator runs on a machine that has a Proxy server installed, you need to connect to the proxy server when accessing other machines. To configure Proxy server settings, see Configuring proxy server settings.
• Debug levels: To set the debug levels in Application Integrator, see Defining the debug level.
• Multiple Control-M/EM GUI Servers: If there are multiple GUI servers defined in your environment and you wish to change the default GUI Server when logging in, you need to create a communication configuration file as described in Creating a communication configuration file. If you do not need multiple GUI servers, you can stop them and delete them in the Control-M Configuration Manager.
