Adding a Job Properties dependency condition

This procedure describes how to add a Job Properties dependency condition in the Designer area.

To add a dependency condition:

1. In the Job Properties Dependencies View field, click .

   The Add Job Properties Dependencies window appears.

2. In the On area, in the Parameter Name field, select the parameter that you want to create a dependency condition for.

   NOTE: You can create dependency conditions only for drop-down list and check box fields.

3. In the Rule field, do one of the following:
   • Select Equals, and then select one of the parameter's values.
   • Select Not Equals, and then select one of the parameter's values.
4. In the Do area, perform any of the following actions:
   • Click to add a dependent parameter to the Dependent Parameter list.

   TIP: To add all available parameter fields to the dependent list, continue clicking until all fields are in the list.

   • In the Parameter field, select the dependent parameter that you want.
   • In the Visibility field, select whether the parameter should be visible, hidden, or read-only.
   • Click to remove the selected parameter from the Dependent Parameter list.
5. Click OK.

   The dependency appears in the Dependency Condition list.
