Control-M for AFT messages

The following table describes messages that are issued by Control-M for AFT. These messages might appear in one of the Control-M/EM client components.

The Account.dat file is missing in the <agent dir>\cm\AFT\data directory

Create an account from a Control-M for AFT account utility.

Another process is using the account file.

Wait five seconds, and try to access it again.

Template file not found

The Templates.dat file for MVS platforms is missing in the <agent dir>\cm\AFT\data directory.

Create a template from the MVS File Management utility.

Another process is using the account file.

Wait five seconds, and try to access it again.

1005

Mismatch in name format between the account and directory <dir name>

The OS400 path name format in the Home Directory field, in the account utility is not the same as the path name in the File Transfer form.

Fix the home directory in the account utility or fix the path in the File Transfer form.

Failed to get drive list: <error message>

Control-M for AFT could not retrieve the local computer drive list.

Contact your system administrator.

Unable to open connection to FTP server - <error>

Control-M for AFT could not connect to a remote FTP server.

  • Study the FTP server’s error message and try to resolve the problem.
  • From an account utility, check the account details and try to validate.

Failed to get directory content: <error>

Control-M for AFT failed to get the directory content from the remote server.

  • Study the error message and try to resolve the problem.
  • Check that the home directory in the account is correct and validate the account.

PGP Template file not found

The Pgp_templates.dat file is missing in the <agent dir>\cm\AFT\data directory

Create a PGP template in the Control-M Configuration Manager.

PGP Template file is inaccessible or locked

Another process is using the Pgp_templates file.

Wait five seconds, and try to access it again.
