Changing the AFT key database password

This procedure describes how to change the keystore password and update the Control-M for AFT SSL configuration file with the new encrypted password.

NOTE: If this is the first time, you are changing the keystore password, the default password is password.

To change the keystore password:

1. Navigate to the following location:

   <Control-M/Agent_Home_Dir>\CM\AFT\

2. Type the following command:

   keystoreutil –keystorepasswd –help

   For keystoretype parameter choose: AFT_SSL

   The keystore and Control-M for AFT SSL configuration files are updated with the new password.
