When planning your migration process consider the following:
EMReportcli.exe is no longer supported from Control-M/EM version 9.0.18 and above. You need to update the hosts that run jobs which execute EMReportcli.exe, as described in Control-M Report job definition.
Due to changes in Control-M Reports, there might be differences between previously generated reports and the converted reports. For more information about Control-M Reports capabilities, supported Control-M Reports, output formats, filtering parameters and operator comparisons, see Key differences between the versions.
For a limited period, old versions (prior to Control-M/EM version 9.0.18) of the Reporting Tool continue to work with Control-M/EM version 9.0.18 and above. To continue working with the Reporting Tool, refrain from upgrading the Control-M client and choose to do a fresh installation of the new Control-M client side-by-side.
NOTE: You cannot connect old Control-M client versions with Control-M/EM Server version 9.0.18 and above. To access the Reporting Tool, from the Start menu, select All Programs > BMC Software Control-M 9.0.00 > Control-M Reporting Facility.
