Configuring Control-M/EM API

This procedure describes how to configure Control-M/EM API.

The processes for configuring Control‑M/EM API on computers running Microsoft Windows and on computers running UNIX are identical (except differences in the names of some of the files used, as described in Configuration files).

To configure Control-M/EM API:

1. Change the current directory to the Control-M/EM API client’s home directory, emapi-918.
2. Ensure that the EM_HOME system variable is defined. If not, set it to emapi-918 directory.
3. Run one of the following files:
   • Microsoft Windows: emapi‑configure.bat
   • UNIX: emapi‑configure.sh
4. After running the script follow the on-screen prompts.

You are now ready to prepare your project and its environment to use the Control‑M/EM API. See Control-M/EM API configuration.
